As mentioned by others, disabling iGpu is neccessary but in my case if I use the steam launch option fallout is asking for my bethesda account credentials because it wants to migrate the game from bethesda to steam. If you try both versions, Proton and Native you'll see that the Proton version is much much better than the native one. E. bethesda help page suggest to leave launch options blank.
